Uranium Mill Tailings Radiation Control Act (UMTRCA)
of 1978
The Floyd D. Spence Act designated the Moab Project Site as a Title I site under UMTRCA. Site remediation will be performed in accordance with this act.

"Health and Environmental Protection Standards for Uranium and Thorium Mill Tailings" 40 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 192
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency established cleanup standards for residual radioactive material at Title I sites. DOE must clean up the Moab Project Site to these standards.

National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Information
